1. About Warangal Bookies

Warangal Bookies is a community-driven book exchange and reading club platform for readers in Warangal. The platform facilitates peer-to-peer book lending, community meetups, and reading engagement through gamification. By using this platform, you agree to these terms.

2. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old, or have parental/guardian consent to use the platform.
• The platform is intended for the Warangal reading community. Access requires admin approval after registration.

3. Account Terms

• You sign in using your Google account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account.
• You agree to provide accurate information and keep your profile up to date.
• New accounts require approval from a community admin before full access is granted.
• You may not create multiple accounts or share your account with others.

4. Book Exchange Rules

• Books listed on the platform remain the property of their owner. The platform only facilitates lending.
• Borrowers are expected to return books in the same condition they were received, within the agreed timeframe.
• If a book is damaged or lost while in your possession, you are responsible for replacing it or compensating the owner.
• Both lenders and borrowers must confirm loan transactions through the platform.

5. Community Conduct

• Be respectful and courteous to fellow community members at all times.
• Meetups are community events — behave appropriately and follow any venue rules.
• Do not use the platform to harass, spam, or engage in any form of misconduct.
• Content you share (book reviews, comments) must not be offensive, defamatory, or illegal.

6. Points & Gamification

The platform awards points and badges for activities like lending books, attending meetups, and reading. These are for community engagement only and hold no monetary value. The platform reserves the right to adjust point values, badges, and leaderboard calculations at any time.

7. Limitation of Liability

Warangal Bookies is a facilitator for peer-to-peer book exchanges. We are not responsible for:

• The condition, quality, or content of books exchanged between members.
• Any disputes between members regarding book loans or returns.
• Any loss or damage arising from meetup attendance.
• Service interruptions or technical issues beyond our control.

8. Account Termination

Community admins may suspend or remove your account if you violate these terms, engage in misconduct, or are inactive for an extended period. You may request account deletion by contacting us.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance. Significant changes will be communicated through the platform.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Warangal, Telangana.
